Creating the Byzantine Chain Necklace

We make our Byzantine Chain, a traditional design, entirely by hand. First, solid 14k gold wire is wrapped on an arbor to form a coil. The coil is then cut to create individual rings of uniform size and shape. The chain is formed by attaching the rings to create groups of four which are then linked by two more rings to another group of four. While we make our necklace and bracelet to standard lengths, we can customize the piece to any length. The chain is finished with a toggle closure and our signature tag and polished to perfection.
