How the Gingko Leaf with Ladybugs Pin is Made

The Gingko Leaf is one of our most loved designs and we thought it would be fun to make some tiny ladybugs right at home on it. After the leaf is polished, flux is applied to help the solder flow. Two tiny balls of solder are carefully placed on the fluxed area and the ladybugs are gently positioned on top. The leaf is then carefully heated from the bottom until the solder flows and the ladybugs settle down comfortably. After the pin findings are soldered on, the pin is cleaned and polished one more time.
